Monthly reporting in Paisley & Renfrewshire
One page a month you can actually read.
A fee for 'hosting and support' is the first thing cancelled in January. So the monthly fee is tied to something you can check in ninety seconds: how many people called you, and whether the map moved.
What the fee buys
Proof, not a subscription that quietly renews.
The easiest fee in the world to cancel is one nobody can see working. So every month you get a single page that shows whether the work is doing anything: the same map run again, next to the number of people who actually called, tapped for directions, or clicked to your site.
It’s deliberately short. If you can’t read it standing at the kettle, it’s failed at its job. And if a month was flat, it’ll tell you that plainly.
What’s on the page
Three things, no jargon.
How many people called you
Calls, direction taps and website clicks from Google’s own figures. Last month next to this month, so the change is obvious.
The map, run again
Same grid, same centre, same words as the baseline. The only honest way to show whether your visibility actually moved.
What I did, and what’s next
In sentences, not a chart dump. A quiet month is written up as a quiet month, with what I’m doing about it.
Yours to keep
Every report is yours. If you ever leave, you take the whole record of what was done and what it moved.
Being straight with you
The report won’t flatter the work.
I report what happened, not what sounds good.
The numbers are Google’s, not mine, and the map is run on the same grid every time so it can’t be nudged. That means some months the report will show a business that barely moved, and it will say so. I’d rather hand you an honest flat month than a dressed-up one, because the day you catch me spinning a number is the day you stop believing all of them.
Questions
Worth asking.
Where do the numbers come from?
Straight from Google's own figures for your profile: calls, taps for directions, clicks through to your site. They're first-party and credible, not something I've cooked up. The map is run with third-party rank-tracking tools, and the report says so.
What happens in a quiet month?
The report says it was quiet. I'd rather tell you that than dress up a flat month as progress. The whole point of the same map twice is that you can see the truth either way, and decide for yourself whether to keep going.
Is it just an automated dashboard?
No. Dashboards bury you in numbers nobody reads. This is one page, written in sentences: what the figures were, what I did, and what's next. You can ring me about any line on it.
Can I cancel if it isn't working?
Any month, no notice, no fee. The report exists so you can make that call with real information. If the map isn't moving and the calls aren't coming, you should leave, and I'd rather you did than pay me out of politeness.
Where you stand
Find out where you actually rank.
Send me your business name and the areas you cover, and I’ll check where you’re showing up across your patch and where you’re not. There’s no charge for it, and if you’re already doing well I’ll tell you that.
